I started at Hamilton College in 2001 in S2. I found the teachers very encouraging, helpful and always willing to make time for me. I have fond memories of my time at Hamilton College and I met some of my closest friends there.

Nursery Aims...

To provide a stimulating and caring environment where children can safely develop confidence and self esteem, with growing independence.

To encourage children to form positive attitudes towards others. To accept their qualities of sameness and difference including gender, race, culture, faith and abilities.

To provide learning opportunities, which build on children's previous experience and take account of their individual needs.

To include parents in this process, in recognition of the vital contribution they make to their child's educational development.

To provide a planned curriculum with specific objectives which will provide an excellent grounding for school.

To maintain a balance between child-directed and teacher-supported activities.

To use play as the stimulus for children to develop and learn whilst having fun.
