S1/S2 Innov8
This innovative course brings together the areas of Technology, Computing and Business. The lessons are activity based and link well with the Technologies, Social Subjects (Business), Numeracy and Literacy outcomes from level 3 of a Curriculum for Excellence. Both courses have group based projects within them that allow pupils to work collectively and individually towards outcomes.
Innov8 1 looks at structures, programming using Lego Mindstorms, electronics design, marketing, types of business organisations and building interactive kiosk programs.
Innov8 2 looks at programming using App Inventor, finance, operations of a business, graphics, pneumatics, image editing and animation.
