Hamilton College will always have a special place in my memory. The school has given me so much and I would love to return in the future to see it continuing to flourish.

S1 & S2 Music

S1 & S2

The music curriculum is underpinned by the idea of developing three aspects of musicianship; Performing, Inventing, Listening. Therefore pupils will experience a wide range of opportunities to do topic related work which embraces all 3 skills.

In particular they will focus on individual instrumental skills, classroom group performance, and composing/improvising short pieces of music. They will also learn concepts and terminology and be able to recognise these in music which they hear.
