Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision and we aim to make the process as easy as possible.

Admissions Process

1. Submit an Admissions Enquiry

Submit an Admissions Enquiry

2. Come and visit us

Our Admissions Manager will contact you to arrange a convenient time to come into the school and see it for yourself. This is the best way to see if our school is the best fit for your child.

3. Complete an Application Form

If you decide that Hamilton College is the best for you and your family, you must complete and return the Application for Enrolment. This can be completed online or in paper form. There is a £100 fee associated with the application and assessment.

4. Schedule a Taster Day and/or Entrance Assessment

During a Taster Day, a prospective pupil is given a Buddy and experiences Hamilton College along with our current pupils.

Our Entrance Assessments take place in January on the following dates:

Junior School - Monday 20 January

Senior School - Tuesday 21 January

If you are unable to attend, our admissions manager will arrange an alternative date.

The Entrance Assessment takes approximately half a school day to complete. The Entrance Assessment can be done as part of a Taster Day.

If successful, you will receive an Offer of Place by letter. You must accept the offer in writing.

6.  The Welcome Pack and Contract will be posted to you

The Contract must be returned within seven days.

  • If you have any questions about the day or next steps, please contact the Admissions and Relationship Manager, Greta Montgomery, at [email protected]. Mrs Montgomery will be your point of contact throughout the Admissions Process.
