Return to school form
Early in the new year, we will be sending you a link to a COVID Update form. Can you please complete this and return it to us by 4th January. If any pupil is self-isolating across the holidays and the dates mean that this will impact their return to school on Wednesday 6th January please let the school know as soon as possible so that arrangements can be put in place for home learning. Also, if personal circumstances change and a pupil is unable to return to school / adjustments are necessary, again please let us know as early as possible. The best course for a first contact is to message / call the school’s COVID number which is – 07474410485.
Positive test during holiday period
In the event of a positive test during the holiday period, meaning that the Trace & Protect team need to contact the school to identify close contacts, please again use the telephone number above.
Covid restrictions
We would ask all parents to continue to respect the safety of the whole school community. The School is not in a position to police the social activities of its pupils. However, parents should consider that where the COVID restrictions are breached, there is a potential whole-school impact.
Uniform
We are encouraging pupils to return to wearing school uniform with a view to re-instating fully by the February break (guidelines permitting). We understand that parents may wish to refrain from the wearing of blazers, in which case a plain back or navy jacket is acceptable. Due to restrictions on PE changing facilities, pupils should continue to wear sports kit for PE and outdoor activities.
Study classes & Sporting Activities
Information on study classes and sports activities change with Government Guidelines. Departments will keep you informed of these ongoing.
Changes to local or country-wide circumstances
In the unlikely event of a full-scale lock-down due to a change in local or country-wide circumstances, we are in a position to revert to remote teaching as from 6th January with a contingency timetable already in place.
Many thanks for your understanding and support across this term to ensure that our School Community remains safe. Many have faced challenges this year but we have so much for which we should be grateful. “When they saw the star they Rejoiced” Matthew 2:10 – and we too should rejoice every day.
May we take this opportunity to wish you a peaceful Christmas.
Kind regards
